My name is Alasdair Harries.

    I was born on the 27th November 1969.
    In a little town in the county of Dyfed (now called Carmarthenshire again) Wales called Llanelli.
    The National Anthem of Wales is called Hen Wlad fy Nhadau (Land Of My Fathers for non welsh speakers like myself).

    At the age of seven my family moved to Glasgow in Scotland.
    You can't even talk about Scotland without mentioning Whisky.
    I have tried a few in my time. There are so many it would take a life time to try them all.
    Another Scottish tradition is the Clan Tartan.
To get into the mood have a listen to Flower Of Scotland.

    Two years spent in Glasgow, where i discovered what football (soccer to those in the US) was.
    Until then i had been brought up on rugby in South Wales.

    Another move this time to a town called Crawley, West Sussex in the South East of England.
    I took a couple of pictures of the street i used to call home.
 

 
They were taken during christmas 98 with the digital camera i treated myself to.

    I studied at the University Of Luton where i obtained a BSc(Hons) in Computer Science and Management.

    Lived in Crawley until i was twenty-four then i moved out to Norway.

    This is where i currently find myself.
    A nice sleepy Norwegian town called Horten.
    The Norwegians also have their own version of whisky.
    It is called Aquavit. A famous brand is Loiten Aquavit.
