What is Hexagon98?Have a look at the top mp3 downloads recently updated. Hexagon98 is the term chosen for the next field operation undertaken by The Triangle Project. The term implies an extension of the October ´97 excursion, the initial Triangle Project. The basic idea of The Triangle Project expeditions is to capture photos / videos of «The Hessdalen Phenomena» (UFOs) from two or more different angles simultaneously. Although we did have two sightings in October ´97, and even have photos of the phenomena, we did not succeed in our main intention; to capture photos from three different angles simultaneously. The phenomena appeared outside the triangle, and was only observed by one of the three observation camps. New - the last update from Hessdalen We hope and believe that Hexagon98 will be more successful than our last field operation as for the idea of shooting the phenomena from different angles simultaneously. The plans for the new excursion is based upon the experiences from October ´97. We will have to man six camps, Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo and Texas (HQ). Texas will be moved to Hessdalskjolen (at the northerly end of the valley) and Texas, like the other camps, will be on duty continuously for 24 hours. Echo will be a new permanent observation camp (permanent = for the excursion period) while Delta will be a mobile unit. Team Delta twill primarily be operating in the area of the latest sighting, and will be based near lake Oyungen in between the ambulant operations. Team Delta is likewise in charge of all rescue tasks that may be needed during the field work. The October ´97 excursion clearly showed the need for a team specially assigned and equipped for emergency cases. The weather conditions may be extremely rough in these parts of the country, especially in fall and wintertime. Texas will have more extended obligations than the last time, first of all by operating as a service center for all the other camps, bringing weather forecasts, updated hints and information from the inhabitants of the valley, organize and coordinate the activities in the different camps when / if there is a sighting. Each of the camps will be manned with three persons, except for Delta with two persons. Consequently The Triangle Project will have six more participants than on the last excursion. Each of the six camps will be manned with at least one «veteran». The main reason why we succeeded so well on the last field operation was the strict rules for behavior, task solving and radio communications. During Hexagon98 we will push this a bit further, and be even more clinical in our attitude and actions. Hexagon98 will last for a period of five days, autumn 1998.
