'Twas the night before 18-Sep-98, and all through the net, not a creature was
stirring, except for Ragnar, who whispered ominously:

Turned out to be simpler than I thought. Just follow the guide but don't
set a @succ prop and don't link the action to $nothing. Instead, link it
to the zomcontprogram (#856) and set a prop called 'zom' on the action to
the number of the zombie (without the # sign). Then type the control action
followed by "#help" to find out what commands can be used. (My favourite is
#zmot (Zombie reMOTe?) which lets you control the zombie directly. Check it
out. Everyone make a zombie and let's have a zombie party! :P)

BTW, while experimenting with my latest creation, I discovered something
else that may have to be limited: Zombies can page! Not each other, and you
can't page them back, but they can page players. Can be a bit confusing to
be paged by someone you never heard of, then when you try to page back you
find you can't, and when you try to look up the name you're told that there
is no such player!
The easiest "solution" (for those who consider this a problem ;)) would be
to not let zombies page (They can't on Furry. Haven't checked on TFF because
it's down. *sob*) but maybe, just to be a bit creative, someone could look
into the possibilities of having zombie pages appear a as e.g.
"In a page-pose to you, [Jabari's] Kitzuka stretches her wings."
Would probably require a fairly major rewrite of the page program, though.
Oh well...
