'Twas the night before 26-Sep-98, and all through the net,
not a creature was stirring, except for Myrla, who whispered ominously:

Can't remember if I mentioned it before but the reason (well one of the
reasons) I joined TF&F was that I got to play with a "randomizer" and
came across a cool morph just when the resident wiz asked me again if I
wanted a char. So the idea worked with me at a least (which is more or
less why I made the suggestion in the first place). "So you like looking
like that, huh? Well how would you like to keep that form and get to
modify it anyway you want, and even name it? Just sign here, here, and
here..." <g>
>I've got the prefect job for a guest hater.. make him the official guest

Why just one? We have wizards, we have helpstaff, maybe we should have a
staff of greeters as well. ;) I have put all the guests on my WatchFor
but unlike the one on e.g.Furry it seems to only notify me about who's
online when I log on, not when they log on and off while I'm online, so
the chances of making first impresssions are a bit slim...
Here's another idea: We already have a Bell program. I haven't checked the
docs yet but assume this is the kind of bell you can ring to get the
attention of everyone on a list (assuming they're online). How about
putting a bell in the park and let everyone who wants to meet and greet
a guest register on it? Perhaps lock it so only guests can use it and
make it clear this was made specially for them...
(Then again...
There was an old man who said: "Well!
Will nobody answer this bell?
I haverung day and night
till my hair has grown white
but NOBODY answers this bell!
Sorry... :P )
