I was discussing the mediocre currency units with someone on Furry the
other day and we came up with a pawful that we thought would work better,
but I don't remember very many of them. :P Well, when she suggested 'tails'
I came back with 'hairs on your tail' but we agreed that wouldn't be very
nice for people who didn't have very many of them. ;) ("245 hairs on my
tail! Oh no! I've got mange!") Then again, the unit on Furry was 'days
left to live' once...
I had an idea about 'sticks and stones' once but to work right that would
probably require a little rewrite of the find-one-unit routine so it would
alternate between "You find a stick!" and "You find a stone!" Probably
not worth the trouble unless someone comes up with more 'pair' currencies.
