Pardon my wild imagination, but I've been experimenting a bit with MPI
of late and started seeing possibilities (one of my characters has a
puppet with two smell messages, which one gets shown depends on the
smeller's gender!). The exit message from the cave could contain a bit
of code that checks if the mayor is on line (the function is called
'awake' or something), and if he is the guest gets a message that 'the
mayor comes running into the park to welcome you and give you the keys
to the city! He has barely time to introduce himself as Salem before his
pager beeps and he runs of in search for a phone. Busy fur, but maybe you
could try paging him anyway. Or someone else...'

Hmm, I actually spent part of this afternoon talking to one of my puppets...
But then I had an excuse, I was installing the com program on the space
station and needed help to test it...
