I suppose the idea is to provide a central gathering place when everyone
could meet to hang out. Sure, this could be anyplace.. indeed, even on
FM, there are a variety of "hang outs" available. Clubs, Pools, Bars,
whatever.. Parks do seem to be the traditional thing to put at the
virtual center of a muck, by whatever name.. on Furtoonia, it is called
"The Square".. on Tapestries, they have a plaza. I have no idea why this
is, though.. just seems like the thing to do.
For the record, though, FuzzyLogic had no park at all during its first
year. Just a simple clearing in the forest. Not even worthy of being a
place to hang around. You think it's lacking in structure now, it was a
mess back then. :)
After I became a builder wiz, Tigra gave me the go ahead to do some
restructuring, my first acts was to build a park, and redirect the guest
cave and player start to it. :) Why? It seemed like the thing to do. :)
I actually first built that park on Furtoonia as part of a
residential/recreational development project. Lake Kurosawa was part of
that project. The project has since pooped out though, and I eventually
wiped all but the residential area and the park. On Fuzzy, I was able to
accomplish what I had wanted to do on Furtoonia, and then some. I had
the opportunuity/ability to go beyond my vision. The surrounding
suburban development is the result. Though I'm still needing to work up
descriptions for the streets. :)

We change the currency because its creative, fun and potentially
humerous. Also, because we can! :) I too, know a muck where the
currency never changes.. Tapestries. It's been just "pennies" for as
long as I can remember.. how boring! :)
