Some food for thought: Here's the message you get when you type "staff" on
SpinDizzy.

        Ask anyone. We are all helpstaff here. Or at least we should 
try to be.
 
        We are -- or are trying to be -- a community of people here. 
As such, we have the responsibility to help the other members of our 
community to the best of our ability. The well-being of others is 
essential to both ourselves and our muck; and so, we should all be 
ready to help anyone who needs assistance.
 
        If you cannot help a person at the moment, you should politely 
explain that you're not able to willing to; and if possible, try to 
locate someone else who could help.
 
        And, of course, there are the wizards around in case things 
are in really bad shape.
